CPRS ACE Award: Student Communications Plan of the Year

In May 2016 I led a group that won an Achieving Excellence in Communications (ACE) award for student communications plan of the year from the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS). Centennial College Dean's Award for Academic Excellence

In April 2016, I received the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence for achieving the highest average in the Centennial College corporate communications and public relations program.

Huron University College graduate student travel bursary

In April 2012, I received a travel bursary from my alma matter, Huron University College, to complete research for my master's cognate paper. I travelled to the National Archives in College Park, MD to research violence surrounding school desegregation in northern cities. The resulting paper was entitled "Beyond Little Rock: School desegregation violence in three northern cities."
